Greenery, the colour of 2017 by Pantone

PANTONE has just announced the colour that will represent the year 2017! The PANTONE Colour of the Year is a symbolic colour selection, a “snapshot of what we see taking place in our global culture that serves as an expression of a mood and an attitude.”

And Greenery is the name of 2017 colour. But what kind of colour is it? According to PANTONE, Greenery is a “fresh and zesty yellow-green shade that evokes the first days of spring when nature’s greens revive, restore and renew”.

GREENERY burst forth in 2017 to provide us with the reassurance we yearn for amid a tumultuou social and political environment. Satisfying our growing desire to rejuvenate and revitalize, Greenery symbolises the reconnection we seek with Nature, one another and a larger purpose.
